Nature is a show off.

There. I said it. How could your socks not be absolutely blown off?

Brown dog wearing a yellow collar sits in a purple flower field under a clear sky, looking at the camera.

Reef doesn't wear socks.

If he did, they would be in outer space.

Other than dogs + photography I am super duper passionate about the ~outdoors~

This here mountain is my most favorite mountain. Paws down.

While we were there with Reef and his doggy sister Coral, Caden and I shared some of our little stories and adventures we've had there.

From the time we lost our keys in the vast, vast field. We were there for about an hour angrily and sweatily searching.

The time we tried to go through a small looking puddle that turned out to be a small lake. The water was up to the door handles. We had to call his dad to rescue us, and so he did. The best father in law award goes to Rob every time. His truck is so massive it drove right through the small ocean and pulled us out. I don't know who was steaming more, our explorer or Caden. Grand old times.

We camped up there recently and I was in charge of picking a movie to watch on the iPad. I'm not a good movie picker outer. It was some vampire horror nonsense that made me giggle. Horror isn't supposed to make you giggle.

Coral being pure magic.

Magic is certain word I love to use but never lightly.

Only when the light is just right, when the sound coming from the photo is loud. I love taking loud photos. All ears and nose.

This place is so special to me. Better than Disneyland. My favorite mountain.

Magic.

Hi, hey, hello! This is my first ever blog post and I thought this was a good time to start! For those of you who don't know, I'm Lexie Clayburn and oh boy I loveeee dogs! I think they're the greatest gift to earth, life would be bleh without them. Every day is a party when there's dog hair confetti everywhere! I got the great opportunity to have a pet photography event at https://www.healthypetssummitcounty.com. Hedi and her daughter are the nicest coolest people! Here are some of the furry faces I got to squish! This is just a short blog post for today to get started, there will be more in the future on our dog photography adventures! Can you imagine all the slobber, dog hair, and wiggles? Those three things make any day the best day! Thank you for reading! Don't forget to hug your dog for me!

It's not very often you get to visit a place that feels like another planet, but when you get that chance I beg you to go! The Bonneville Salt Flats is like a place out of this world. Miles and miles of sparkling ground that goes on forever! We went this May and were lucky to see it when a thin layer of water took over creating amazing reflections and ughh let me tell you about the sunsets! Im blessed with great friends and even greater husband that will follow me on my photography adventures and will drive 3 hours on a whim. I was able photograph to my hearts extent. At the beginning of this adventure my pants were black but when we left they were white. I have never been so salty in my life! If you ever visit, whether it be for a photoshoot of a life time or just passing through, be prepared to get SALTY! My camera gear warns you. My husband and friends were there shooting for about 2 hours, at the end of the day the sunset was incredible!

I got the cool opportunity to write a paragraph for https://bayphoto.com . If you haven't heard of them, I suggest you run to their website and be totally awe struck. I've always been weary with canvases. It's been pushed into my brain even as a kid. I remember thinking at how dull they all seemed. Making the actual photo look pixelated and not true. Getting into the huge world of photography and professional printing labs, Bayphoto was always highly recommend. Stomping down my fears, I ordered myself a 16x20 framed canvas. Holy cow. Perfection.
